Altar Flowers
Prepare and arrange the flowers for the altar to honour the feasts through the year with beauty.
Altar Serving
Altar servers assist at the Holy Mass and help to elevate the reverence and beauty of our worship.
Band of Mothers
Mothers gather to pray the Holy Rosary for their adult children and support each other in passing on the faith.
Bible Study Group

Building Committee
Help the pastor in maintaining and improving the church building and property.
Choirs & Schola
Musically inclined? Join a choir or our schola and help lift hearts to God through sacred music and Gregorian chant.
Church Vacuuming
Help keep the entrance, aisles and pews clean and welcoming. Many hands make light work!
Coffee Sunday Teams
Set up the coffee and supplies for our monthly Coffee Sunday in the school gym, and help make time together after Mass a joy.
Collection Counters
Sort and count the Sunday collection to support the material needs of the parish.
Dad’s Group
Dads with children still at home talk about family leadership and growing in the faith.
Encyclical Reading and Discussion Group
Read and discuss the Church’s encyclicals together, and grow in understanding of what the Church teaches and why.
Finance Council
Parishioners with financial experience who advise the pastor on the parish budget and the good stewardship of our resources.
Greeters and Ushers
Welcome people at the doors, help with seating and the collection, and make sure everyone from long-time parishioners to first-time visitors feels at home.
Groundskeeping Crew
Hands-on work outdoors, a few times a year, to beautify our church property and spiritual home.
Holy Hour with Sisters PJC
An hour of adoration and prayer at St. Ann’s with the Sisters Poor of Jesus Christ.
Hospitality
Assist with Coffee Sunday and other parish events: setting up, serving and helping everyone feel welcome.
INSPIRE: Families Growing Together in Faith
We team up with Immaculate Heart of Mary Church hosting small-group learning for the whole family.
Mom’s Group
Support for mothers with small children and lessons in faith and singing for the children.
RCIA Facilitators
Facilitators guide participants through the teachings of Christ and the Church to help them understand and prepare to become Catholic.
Readers for the Mass
Proclaim the Word of God at Mass. Training is provided for new readers.
Recollections for Men at IHM
Holy Hour with preached meditation by a priest, confessions, benediction and a practical talk.

Sacramental Preparation
Catechists instruct children in preparation for the sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
Sacred Music Workshops
A half-hour workshop with our choir director on singing the traditional Mass. All skill levels welcome, no experience needed.
Social Committee
Plan and run our big parish social events so they’re fun for the whole family. Organizers welcome!
St. Vincent de Paul Society
Members serve the poor in our community with practical help and friendship, seeing Christ in every person they meet.
Street Ministry
With the Sisters Poor of Jesus Christ, we make lunch bags at St. Stanislaus hall (8 Saint Ann St.) and bring them downtown to neighbours in need.
Teen Group
Sports, Bible study, self-defense and food, followed by Benediction.
Young Adults’ Group
A Holy Hour with confessions followed by a talk and panel discussion with priests, concluding with food and social.
