Parish Devotions
Through the year, St. Ann’s keeps the Church’s rich traditions of prayer, processions and devotion. Come and pray with us.
Novena to St. Ann
Our parish’s cherished annual novena: prayers and Mass each evening, with many favours received through St. Ann’s intercession.
Corpus Christi Procession
A Eucharistic procession down Barton Street, a public witness to Our Lord’s true presence, often with neighbouring parishes and the Sisters PJC.
Rorate Mass
A Mass offered by candlelight, looking toward the coming of Christ, the Light of the world, at Christmas.
Forty Hours Devotion
Forty hours of Eucharistic adoration. Come and adore Our Lord, as the shepherds and Magi came to the manger.
Epiphany Water Blessing
The solemn blessing of Epiphany water, with the Litany of the Saints and the ancient prayers of exorcism. Bring a clean bottle to take blessed water home for the year.
Epiphany House Blessing
We bless chalk on Epiphany and provide it for you to take home, so you can bless your house and mark your door with the initials of the three Magi and the year.
Parish Mission
A one-day mission to grow and deepen your faith in a particular area of the spiritual life.
33-Day Consecration to Jesus through Mary
Make or renew the Total Consecration of St. Louis de Montfort together with the parish.
All Souls Rosary at the Cemetery
We walk through Holy Sepulchre Cemetery praying the Rosary for all the faithful departed.
Ember Days
An ancient tradition of fasting and prayer, especially for vocations.
First Friday & First Saturday
Honour the Sacred Heart of Jesus on First Fridays and the Immaculate Heart of Mary on First Saturdays.
Holy Face Devotion
Each Tuesday after morning Mass, those present pray the devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus.
