Highlights from the Corpus Christi Procession

On June 7th we had our big Corpus Christi Procession down Barton Street. This is an important time to publicly give thanks to God for His many blessings, especially the treasure that we have in the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. Below is a video of the Homily where you can learn more about this and the connection between Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Bernadette and Holy Communion.

The procession this year connected four communities in the downtown Hamilton area. The procession began at St. Ann's Church at Barton and Sherman. With the help of the Hamilton Police and our parish Marshals, we then processed to the Chapel of the Sisters of the Poor of Jesus Christ. From there we continued on to St. Stephen of Hungary Church where they sang beautiful Hungarian Eucharistic Hymns. Finally, the procession ended at All Souls Church with the final prayers and Benediction.

We all then shared a celebration potluck party in the All Souls Hall. We are all grateful to the parishioners of All Souls for hosting the party and providing lots of food and refreshments.

Below you will notice lots of pictures from the procession that help to capture the spirit and devotion of all of the people. Soon, we will post a short video capturing more highlights from the procession and personal testimony. Come back to check when it's posted below.
