First Holy Communion and Confirmation are two great moments in a child's life in Christ. At St. Ann's we prepare children alongside their families, because the faith is first learned at home — and the parish is here to walk with you.
Registration is now open for the 2026–2027 preparation year. The deadline to register is September 25, 2026.
First Holy Communion
For children in Grade 2 and older
In the Holy Eucharist our Lord gives Himself to us entirely. Preparation helps a child come to the altar knowing Whom they receive, with a heart made ready through their first Confession.
Confirmation
For children in Grade 7 and older
In Confirmation the Holy Spirit strengthens the grace of Baptism and sends a young Catholic out to live the faith with courage. Preparation is the season in which a child begins to take that faith up as their own.
What to have ready
A copy of your child's baptismal certificate. If your child was baptized here at St. Ann's, we already have it on file.
After you register
You will hear from the parish office with the class schedule and everything you need for the year. Preparation is done together with parents, so you will be invited to take part alongside your child.
If your child is not baptized
Baptism is necessary to receive the Sacraments. Please contact the parish office to begin this process for your child and your family.
