Did you know that St. Ann’s was originally built with four confessionals? Over the years, three of them have been boarded over or transformed into storage spaces, leaving us with just one confessional remaining.

Consciously and subconsciously, we notice when things are real and when they are fake. As a parish, we have been moving away from fake and imitation things in place of the real deal. A step we have taken in this direction is the replacement of our electric candle stand for St. Ann with genuine candles.

In a recent ceremony, our Pastor, Father Jeff Oehring, imparted a blessing upon our church's organ, an instrument that has long been the heart of our musical worship.

This past Saturday was an exciting day for our parish community, as we gathered together to witness the blessing of our new monstrance stand by our pastor.

[Transcript of a Hamilton Spectator article published c. 1923.] It will be an impressive and memorable occasion for Catholics throughout the city when Right Rev. M.J. O’Brien, bishop of Peterboro, lays the cornerstone of the new St. Ann’s church on Sunday afternoon.
